This notice explains how personal data is handled on sendway.io, as required by the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Last updated: 3 October 2026.

Who is responsible

The controller is the owner of the sendway.io domain. For anything related to your data, email acquire@sendway.io.

What is collected and why

• Acquisition inquiries. When you use the form or email acquire@sendway.io, I receive your name, email address and anything else you choose to share (company, offer, message). It is used only to reply to you and, if we agree, to complete the sale. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and my legitimate interest in answering inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). Name and email are needed to reply; everything else is optional.
• Bot protection. When you open the form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the request comes from a person rather than an automated script. It processes signals such as your IP address, browser user agent and TLS fingerprint. It is not loaded unless you open the form. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the form free of spam and abuse (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Hosting and security. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request details to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Visit statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views in aggregate. It does not use cookies or build profiles of individual visitors. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding site usage (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Cookies

This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. The only third-party code is Cloudflare’s bot check and visit counter described above.

Who receives your data

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site, runs the bot check and analytics, and delivers form submissions and email to my inbox, acting as a processor. My email provider stores the resulting messages. If a sale goes ahead, the agreed escrow or marketplace service and the domain registrars receive what they need to complete the transfer, under their own privacy terms. Your data is never sold or used for marketing.

Transfers outside the EU/UK

Cloudflare may process data in the United States and other countries. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Cloudflare is certified, and on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long it is kept

Inquiry emails are deleted within 12 months after the conversation ends. If a sale is completed, the related correspondence is kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Data handled by Cloudflare for security and analytics is kept according to Cloudflare’s own retention periods and is not stored by me.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Email acquire@sendway.io and you will get a reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work. No decisions with legal or similarly significant effect are made about you by automated means.

No payment is collected on this website. Payment and domain transfer, if agreed, take place through a separate third-party transaction service subject to its own terms and privacy policy.
